Background
My background is in Instructional Technology, and I have 13 years of experience in secondary and higher education. Recent Open Education work includes technology training, strategic planning, community building, independent evaluations, and international outreach. I have also been invited to make a number of presentations on a variety of Open Education topics.
I have developed an extensive network by actively participating in the OpenCourseWare movement as well as other Open Education groups. I have consulted for the OpenCourseWare Consortium at MIT, the Open University of Catalonia, Creative Commons, and others. I am currently Open Education Program Manager for the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges.
