Normally I would just link to readersdigest.com, but apparently they do not maintain any sort of archive of past issues.

For those of you who don’t know, my mom and her family escaped from communist Bulgaria when she was 16 years old. She has written a book about it, but is still looking for a publisher. Anyway, here is the PDF to the Reader’s Digest article. Enjoy it before someone makes me take it down. Happy 200th Birthday, Mr. Lincoln.
